A new feature of my posterous that you'll be reading about is called Websites to Know. In this space, I'll be telling you about various websites and tools that you should absolutely be using (if you aren't already).
First up is
Bing.com's Travel tool (the website formerly known as Farecast.com). I'm a fan of the former name and will refer to as such. Anyways,
Farecast needs to be your go-to site for booking airfare. Not only is an aggregator with Web 2.0 tools like
Kayak, but it also gives you a prediction tool which tells you whether now is the time to buy or whether you'd save yourself a fair amount of cash by waiting just a few more days or weeks. No longer is there a guessing game for the best time to buy.
So get smart, save some money and start using
Bing Travel. Happy travels.
Learn about TripIt (quick and easy trip organizer) for the trip to AwesomeTown you just booked.
Or check out GroupOn to find an absurdly great deal on restaurants or activities in a major US city you're heading to. Great deal meaning up to 70% off. Yes, I'm talking about that level of Great Deal. Check it out.
